Thanks to the incorporated Rip-Stop weave, the fabric exhibits enhanced durability against abrasions and rips. Inclusion of taped seams ensures superior defense against moisture penetration.

A secure fit on the backpack is achieved with elastic drawstrings featuring a stopper. An added layer of protection is offered by a robust Duraflex buckle, which keeps the cover firmly in place. For convenience, the product can be compactly stored in a selfpack mesh pouch, eliminating the necessity for extra packaging. To prevent water buildup, the cover incorporates a dedicated drainage hole.

    When folded, it takes up very little space, and the pouch is permanently attached to the cover, so it is hard to lose and can be quickly packed away again. The waterproof rating of 5000 mm water column is also very good. A big plus for me is the buckles that let you attach the cover to the backpack, so it does not shift when putting it on or taking it off — that is what caught my attention the most. Since some backpacks, especially larger ones, do not come with a rain cover or offer only limited protection against water, I bought this Highlander model separately and I am satisfied with it.
