Great air rifle, very accurate, at 25m it makes one hole, at 35m it's not worse—1.5cm with JSB RS and Express pellets. Overall, this air rifle likes almost any pellet. The shooting cycle is very pleasant, it’s a light and quick kick. The front and rear sights are of very good quality. When cocking, you hear nothing except the click of the mechanisms. The barrel locks very securely.

HW 30S is a classic break-barrel air rifle with rifled barrel, designed to fire diabolo pellets in 4.5 mm caliber. Thanks to its lightweight construction, it is an excellent choice for novice shooters, among others.
The stock is crafted from high-quality beech wood, providing a pleasant feel. The ergonomic Ambi-type stock is finished with a rubber recoil pad that absorbs the shock from spring vibrations following each shot.
Enhanced safety comes from the uncontrolled discharge lock—upon cocking, the mechanism automatically engages the hammer at the rear of the cylinder. Firing is only possible after manually moving the hammer in the opposite direction with the thumb.
Weihrauch HW 30S features a trigger adjustment system, making it possible to customize the trigger’s resistance to the shooter’s preference.
Equipped with open iron sights, this air rifle includes a covered front sight and a rear sight adjustable for both windage and elevation. An optical sight can also be mounted using the 11 mm standard mounting rail.
The air rifle is covered by a 12-month warranty.

I expected a lot from the HW30 and I wasn't disappointed. Grouping like I've never had on any springer. There’s no hard piston slap like in Hatsans, and it's easier to cock, so shooting a whole tin of pellets at one time isn't a challenge. At 15m with a 4x30mm scope (...a better one is coming), I do just a little worse than with the AA s510 with Exact pellets (the AA makes holes smaller than a 1gr coin—guaranteed target savings). Out of 10 shots, almost all fit under one coin with H&N SPORT GLATT pellets, with only one or two flyers by a few millimeters. Build quality is explosive. Bluing is great. Very handy and lightweight little beast. If you can swallow the price, I highly recommend it.

After shooting about 2,000 rounds I decided to share my opinion about this air rifle. Bought to supplement my rifle shooting training. It is much lighter than a typical pneumatic or KBK, but on the other hand, it gives fun to the whole family and does not tire you even when shooting standing up. Well-adjusted mechanical sights allow you to maintain a 5cm grouping at 10m with ease—they are very clear. Lying down or with support at 10m, you can achieve repeatable shots within a 1cm diameter. At first, I thought 7J was too little energy. In the end, I can repeatedly achieve a 15cm grouping with a scope at 35m, and that's not the end of its capabilities. No flaws. You can feel the high quality as soon as you hold it. The wood is nicely finished. The barrel's bluing is durable. The metal, adjustable trigger does the job—the sensitivity is high enough not to jerk shots. 7J has another benefit—it doesn't kick and doesn't cause the scope to go out of alignment. The safety is conveniently located, but here are two minor remarks: its comfortable location makes it easy to turn off the safety while handling the rifle, and once disengaged, it cannot be re-engaged. I recommend it.

It is unbeatable by any competitor in every respect. Repeatability of shots is 100%. Accuracy depends on the shooter, not the weapon. When I shot from a rest at 10m, all pellets were inside a single coin, often looking like only 3 or 4 shots when there were actually a dozen or so.

I don't throw opinions around lightly, but here it's really top class. I recommend 100%. Lightweight, handy (short), and up to 30m very accurate—hitting a soda cap depends only on a steady hand, 10/10 from a rest. My eyes aren’t what they used to be, so I have a Delta Optical scope and it’s perfect. I’ve gone through many air rifles and will go through many more, but I’ll never sell this one! I’d give a sixth star for build quality!

Build quality 10+, accuracy 10+, every positive review I read before buying was confirmed 100%. This is my fourth air rifle and it's the Ferrari in its class. Small, light, and super accurate. Power is about 9J—not impressive, but the results on the target definitely are.

Very well-made rifle. Very accurate—although I could only test it at a 10m distance. As for the weight, I have doubts whether 3 kg with a scope is light (I have a Gamo Magnum with scope—4 kg, and lighter air rifles around 2.5 kg). When I pick it up, I can feel the weight. Very handy for shooting both with iron sights and with a scope. The trigger can be adjusted so that's OK too. I just don't know why there's an opinion that it's good only for beginners or children. I'm 180 cm and it suits me perfectly.

Very good for starting an adventure with shooting sports. Top level quality. But it's worth considering whether to buy the higher model, hw50s. Still, I recommend it.
