The replica is good although, in my opinion, not for beginners or the youngest users. The description says that the power after tuning should be above 650 fps, but in the specifications, it is stated that it should be 520 fps. Mine in stock has about 680 fps with 0.20g BBs. It was quite difficult to cock at first because you need to set yourself firmly. Magazines from Well fit, but you have to pay attention to the nub on the magazine if you want to get a second one as a spare. Don't overfill with BBs because it won't close properly or might fall out during reloading (then just remove one BB from the magazine and it will fit as it should). The hop-up adjustment is hidden near the magazine, and in my version, the adjustment screw was half-covered by the outer barrel, but it was possible to fix this. The adjustment is quite difficult, but I doubt anyone will constantly play with it. The range in the specification is up to 70m; I shot 0.50g BBs from this distance and, after adjusting the hop-up, you can hit a human silhouette, although you have to aim about a meter above the target. For beginners, I would recommend buying a weaker version so as not to be discouraged by how hard it is to reload, because after all, it is a springer, and the more power, the harder it is to cock.
Spring-powered MB01AE sniper rifle replica, inspired by the British L96 rifle series, is constructed using metal and robust polymer. The stock features a rubber butt pad, and its ergonomic design facilitates comfortable aiming. An adjustable cheek rest allows you to modify its height based on the optic and mount installed. The model incorporates a rotating bolt mechanism, faithfully replicating the action of the original firearm.
Equipped with a precision 6.03 mm diameter aluminum barrel measuring 23.5 inches (500 mm) long, and a 22 mm Picatinny rail on the receiver for compatibility with a wide range of optics. Authenticity is highlighted by an engraved serial number on the receiver. The body, made from reinforced polymer, mimics the original weapon's material and features attachments for a sling and bipod.
Features include a stainless steel cylinder and a 90-degree aluminum piston with a sealed cup-type head. All components interfacing with the trigger group are crafted from stainless steel. A standard 9 mm APS2 spring and steel L96 spring guide of the same diameter combine with a 90-degree trigger group utilizing an updated trigger and steel elements for high durability and resistance to premature wear. These technical solutions enable reliable operation with M220 springs, delivering power exceeding 650 FPS. The cylinder set can be quickly removed without disassembling the entire rifle, simplifying maintenance and enabling easy customization.
Performance is enhanced by an upgraded L96 Hop-Up chamber with innovative Hop-Up rubber that ensures smooth spin for BBs up to 0.50 g.
User experience is improved by the addition of a loading indicator at the rear of the bolt for instant status checks. A magazine empty indicator is present on the left side of the barrel for added convenience.
The set includes:
- replica,
- magazine.

After buying the replica, I had problems with magazines falling out, which was fixed by replacing the magazine catch with a new one. I'd say the hop-up is at least strange: it feels like it will fall off, but it works. As for the sling included in the set, the buckles are of poor quality and bend, and the replica can fall if slung over the shoulder. I can't say anything about the spring because I replaced it with a different one right after purchase. Despite these downsides, I think it's good for tuning.
