The taste is really good — black pepper dominates with a slight hint of garlic, although the seasoning is a bit too strong and at times overpowers the flavor of the meat. The meat itself is very tender and, unlike typical jerky, not dry at all; it is easy to chew and you do not have to “soften” it in your mouth for a long time like some others.
