Frames with HVP technology, Facial Cavity Seal insert

Constructed from robust Triloid nylon, the frames incorporate HVP (High Velocity Protection) technology. Their contoured design offers a secure fit without compromising comfort, even when paired with headphones or hearing protection. Rubberized, non-slip temples and nose pads ensure the glasses remain firmly positioned on the face. The removable Facial Cavity Seal insert enables a close fit, shielding the eyes from wind, dust, and other environmental hazards.

Polycarbonate Selenite lenses, T-Shell coating

Polarized lenses are crafted from impact-resistant polycarbonate Selenite, allowing for 12% light transmission. Enhanced with Captivate technology, they deliver superior image clarity, heightened contrast, and richer color saturation. Complete protection from UVA and UVB rays is provided, while the T-Shell coating boosts scratch resistance and increases overall durability. An oleophobic coating minimizes the accumulation of dust, dirt, oil, snow, and water, ensuring they remain easy to clean.

Standards and certifications

  • EN.166F - meets the European standard for shielding against impacts from high-speed particles (Medium Energy Impact). As per this standard, both the frame and lenses are capable of withstanding a 6 mm diameter steel ball, weighing 0.86 g, projected at 162 km/h.
  • ANSI Z87.1 - sets out the requirements for impact resistance of both the frame and visor. Testing involves striking the equipment with a high-mass steel object (High Mass) and a high-velocity steel projectile (High Velocity), verifying durability against standard mechanical hazards.
  • UV protection - offers complete defense against UVA and UVB radiation, with the visor blocking a minimum of 99.9%.

EN166 is a European standard for optical requirements and mechanical protection for glasses and goggles. Optical requirements include light transmission and diffusion, refractive properties, heat and UV resistance, corrosion and ignition. Mechanical protection is the resistance to object impact, within which there are 4 levels designated by the letters S, F, B and A, where S is the least protection and A is the highest.

    The glasses are sturdy and quite large – they barely fit my big head. People with a smaller head circumference should keep this in mind (I'll choose a different model for my girlfriend), as there's no way to adjust the metal like with traditional glasses. The lenses are of high quality. They work great with a cap or boonie hat – it’s hard to find a better combination.

    The glasses are great, they work perfectly by the water while fishing. I have no complaints, super quality and comfort. The reason for 4 stars is that I received an incomplete set – supposedly only missing the microfiber cloth, but at this price, this shouldn't happen. However, I think it's more the store's fault, and the glasses themselves deserve 5 stars. I highly recommend.
