The RAS mounting system is designed for Spear goggles and is compatible with accessory rail connectors (ARC) commonly used in tactical helmets, offering an effective alternative to standard straps.

RAS Spear incorporates an emergency goggle release mechanism that activates when torque exceeds 11 Nm, helping to prevent neck injuries if the goggles become caught on environmental hazards.

Included in the set are 2 elastic straps with clips and adapters that enable rapid and straightforward attachment to ARC rails. Users can choose between two mounting methods based on their preferences:
1. Fixed mounting – by clipping into the lower section of the rail,
2. Adjustable mounting – by sliding into the rail guide and locking at the preferred position.

No tools are needed for installation.

I bought the Wiley X helmet mount for the Wiley X SPEAR goggles. Everything fits perfectly. Honestly, the rerouting of the straps raises some concerns due to the delicacy of all those little plastic parts, but everything went well. I wouldn’t mind if goggles at this price included such a mount in the set.

A clever solution if you don't want to have a docking strap on your head under the helmet. It allows you to mount goggles directly to the helmet. It worked well for me. I recommend it.
