Wisport Raccoon 45 l Backpack Multicam

Rugged military backpack featuring a 45-liter capacity and a MultiCam camouflage pattern. Constructed from exceptionally durable and tear-resistant Cordura fabric. Engineered by the Wrocław-based manufacturer Wisport in collaboration with commandos from the 1st Special Regiment in Lubliniec. Inspired by the renowned Raccoon series backpacks with capacities of 65 and 85 liters, this model offers an ideal balance between load capacity and overall gear weight.

Adjustable FAS carrying system

Engineered with an aluminum frame, the backpack incorporates a FAS Plus Ergonomic adjustable carrying system that can be customized to fit the user's individual body shape and height. A wide, cushioned, and fully adjustable hip and chest belt comes equipped with certified ITW NEXUS and Duraflex buckles. This entire setup provides optimal rigidity while allowing for the comfortable transport of heavy gear. Enhanced spacer mesh technology promotes airflow along the back panel for improved ventilation.

Spacious main compartment and additional pockets

The primary compartment features an internal divider, separating it into a lower section comprising 1/3 of the space and an upper section with 2/3 of the capacity. Quick access to items stored at the bottom is made possible by a detachable flap positioned at the base. The top flap secures with Fastex buckles, while a Velcro panel on the front enables attachment of patches. An additional feature is the chimney adjustable with a drawstring, which increases the overall carrying capacity when needed.

MOLLE/PALS system and external straps

Featuring a MOLLE/PALS system, the backpack enables the attachment of extra pouches and accessories. External straps with buckles offer additional customization options, making it easy to secure gear such as a sleeping pad or sleeping bag. These straps also provide further compression for the pack, helping to stabilize carried items. Reinforced bar-tacked seams enhance durability and resistance to wear.

elastic side pockets and carry handles

Located on either side of the backpack, small elastic side pockets provide convenient storage for a water bottle or thermos. The back features additional side carry handles, offering an easy way to carry the backpack by hand.

Pocket for hydration insert and rain cover

The backpack features a dedicated compartment specifically designed to hold a water reservoir (Camelbak). An additional sealing system at the hose port prevents water from entering and running down the tube. Plastic clips located on the shoulder straps ensure the tube remains securely fastened. A rain cover is also included, providing protection from adverse weather conditions.

MultiCam camouflage

MultiCam represents an advanced camouflage pattern introduced in 2002 by Crye Precision, a US-based company, in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior project. Designed to deliver flexibility, its purpose is to provide effective concealment across diverse landscapes and variable environmental conditions. The MultiCam camouflage utilizes a palette of seven colors, seamlessly blending gradients of green, brown, and beige tones. Through these transitions, the pattern adjusts to its environment, reflecting green hues in woodlands and brown and beige shades in arid or desert terrain—demonstrating remarkable efficiency in Central and Eastern Europe during autumn and within dried vegetation. MultiCam has achieved international acclaim and is implemented by numerous military forces and special operations units worldwide. In 2010, the US Army formally adopted the pattern for personnel deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Additionally, this pattern is accessible to civilian markets, attracting enthusiasts of military gear and airsoft activities.

    The backpack is lightweight yet very durable and spacious. The frame and suspended mesh improve carrying comfort. I took a long "butt slide" in the mountains with it—there’s no trace of damage, nothing got torn, nothing broke. I can compare the backpack to British military surplus backpacks. It’s just as strong and roomy but lighter. The rain cover is a plus. Despite snow and rain (I forgot to take out the cover), everything inside stayed dry. You can attach additional pockets on the sides, for example, from the Wisport Raccoon 85L backpack. My unit had no loose threads. I'm satisfied with it and recommend it for both short and long mountain trips.

    The backpack works great for weekend trips. It's very comfortable to wear, and I'm a tall person. Thanks to the adjustable harness system, you can customize it to your needs. Spacious, and thanks to a separate compartment, you can easily sort your equipment. Big plus for a simple thing like a hydration bladder loop.

    Wow, product 5/5, I didn't think it was possible to create such a good backpack. The comfort of wearing it is out of this world, over 20k steps on a trip and my slightly crooked back didn't hurt at all (where with other backpacks it usually hurts) - great purchase, I recommend it!

    Nice backpack, in my opinion definitely larger than the declared 45L, as it fits more than the 55L Crafter. It has unusual bottle pockets on the sides. The downside is the small lid, which is hard to open when the backpack is full.

    This is my second backpack from Wisport (the first was the Wildcat 65l for longer camps). This Raccoon is for shorter trips of 2-3 days. 45 liters is more than enough and it's much lighter. If needed, the side pockets from the bigger backpack fit and can increase the capacity (same style, color, material, etc). What is a bit lacking are some small external pockets for documents, a flashlight, etc. Handy ones, where you can quickly access small stuff during a short trip - but you can always buy some small cargo pouch and attach it with the molle system.

    Very, very good backpack, the frame is incredibly well made. I am a person who has back problems and my back always hurt during hitchhiking trips. This backpack is absolutely great, my back doesn't hurt at all, the hip belt and adjustment options do a great job.

    Very high quality product. Cordura 1000 is a durable material. I hope the backpack will serve me for many years. A product worth recommending. The backpack itself is also cleverly made, it has a carrying belt and a system that allows you to quench your thirst during a hike. The FAS system allows you to adjust the backpack to your own needs.

    Hello, I use the following Wisport backpacks: Canyon, Sparrow, Sherpa, which was the first one I bought. And I'm super satisfied with it. As with all of them. I still have each of them, even though the first one is 18 years old. I also have a lot of clothing items like very good socks, both winter and summer, pouches, and extra straps, which you can easily order there. It's a great company with excellent products. POLAND. And let it stay that way.

    After three years of using the backpack, I have to say it was a great choice. Perfect for camping, hiking, or shopping at Lidl. Very well made, nothing wears out, easy to clean. I will definitely buy something smaller from Wisport because I'm extremely satisfied. I recommend it.
