The backpack’s main compartment features a dual-section construction. An internal divider separates the lower compartment, which accounts for roughly one-third of the overall capacity, from the upper compartment, which makes up the remaining two-thirds. Gear stored in the bottom can be easily accessed via a removable bottom flap. The top of the compartment closes with a soft collar secured by a zipper, and is further tightened with a compression strap.
The backpack’s lid is constructed as a two-layer, removable component. It comes equipped with two spacious pockets, one on the outside and one inside. Inside the pack, a zippered divider enables use as either a single large compartment or two separate compartments depending on mission needs.
On either side are two detachable pockets with flaps and extensions, complemented by two smaller drawstring pockets. The extension feature provides an additional capacity of approximately twelve liters to the backpack.
A MOLLE/PALS webbing system is integrated onto the backpack's front panel, enabling users to attach extra pouches and pockets. Additional straps and loops for gear attachment are included, along with compression straps that help minimize the backpack’s bulk or secure external items such as a sleeping bag or jacket.
The FAS Plus Ergonomy Military carrying system offers an adjustable configuration based on an aluminum frame, enabling customization of the backpack’s fit to the user’s body type. Integrated into the design, a wide hip belt helps distribute weight and alleviates shoulder strain during extended treks, while an adjustable chest strap ensures stability and balance while on the move. A carrying handle positioned at the top provides convenient lifting and handling of the pack. D-rings on the shoulder straps allow for the attachment of smaller accessories.
