Free-tex membrane

Engineered with a Free-tex membrane, these shoes shield against water intrusion while permitting internal moisture to vent out. The three-layer construction guarantees full waterproof performance and effective thermal insulation.

Superior comfort is delivered by a midsole and insole crafted from shock-absorbing EVA foam, featuring extra cushioning in the heel section. A oil-resistant rubber outsole with a pronounced tread pattern ensures strong grip across multiple terrains, enhanced further by its anti-slip characteristics.

Designed without any metal elements, the shoes ensure effortless passage through airport security and other secure checkpoints.

Shoes worn daily for two years in spring, summer, and autumn in the army (on asphalt, dirt roads, stones, potholes, puddles, and mud) and they still work well. They are a bit too warm for summer. The material on the inner side by the heel got worn out, but it was easy to fix. The insole also slightly improved the sunk-in sole on the inner side. They will serve me for some more time.

The shoes look solid, but I didn't have a chance to test them. The size is smaller than the size chart suggests - my foot measures 30.5 cm and I don't fit in size 47. I had to return them.

Great shoes, two years of everyday intensive use and they look brand new on the outside. Inside, the fabric on the heels wore through, but it doesn't affect comfort (I've never had shoes that didn't wear at the heels). Very comfortable and basically indestructible. At this price, they have (at least in my opinion) no competition.

The shoes are really comfortable and solid, you don't have to worry about your toes because they are well protected. The sole provides very good grip on wet surfaces. The only thing to pay attention to is the sizing—it's best to follow the insole length.

The toe of the shoe is quite narrow at the height of the big toe joint. According to the insole measurement, size 41 should be slightly too big for me (I like a loose fit, my foot is 26 cm), but because the toe tapers quickly, my toes felt unnaturally cramped. As a result, bunions would be just a matter of time. Size 42 would be much too large, as the shoes are intended for a wide/heavy foot, and mine is not. The actual color is slightly darker than in the pictures. The sole and insole are wide, so if you have flat feet, these shoes are a good choice. There are no odd features that would cause discomfort, except perhaps for the narrow toe. The insole needs replacing; it's very basic and was uncomfortable from the first use.

When you take them out of the box, you can immediately feel the stiff construction, but already on the first long trip (over 4 hours) they managed well. My feet got used to them quite quickly and no blisters, which I was most afraid of—for me, that's a big plus, although my feet are used to wearing heavier, stiffer shoes even in summer due to the rocky area where I live, so I don't know how it would feel coming from soft walking shoes. As for waterproofing, they passed with a solid 4, but for the forest, especially for mushroom picking, shoes with a higher upper would be better.

First impression after opening the box was, at the very least, a meter-long recoil, because the shoes stink terribly. But that's not surprising—they are MADE IN CHINA after all. Luckily, the smell fades over time and then you can go out in the field to test the product without worry. At first, the shoes are very stiff, but after a few kilometers of trekking, you can walk more normally. The shoes are heavy, and after the summer season, your leg, having gotten unused to such weight, really feels it. I tested the shoes only in dry weather, so I won't comment on their water resistance. The sizing matches what's on the website, but be aware that the shoe is intended rather for people with wide feet. For narrower feet, you can wear them comfortably too, but you need to tie them tightly so the shoe doesn't wobble at the heel. For this, I made extra holes in the laces and it's great. As for the looks, the shoes look clunky, but I like them and that's most important. They seem well-made, and the thick sole will let you walk safely on uncertain ground. If they also don't get wet after just one stroll in damp terrain, I'll be extremely satisfied.

I bought them over a month ago and I'm satisfied with my choice—let's start with the pros: + definitely waterproof + comfortable from the first wear + very good anti-slip sole But there are also cons: - sizing: 46 is actually more like 47 - quite hard, even after a month they are very stiff - laces: round profile, sometimes they come undone - shoes are for wet conditions—autumn/winter, very warm, and I have the feeling that my feet can't breathe properly.

Zephyr Tactical Low ZX54 shoes – in my opinion, the shoes are made very well, the stitching and gluing quality are at a high level. The shoes have a solid layer of protective material for the toes and heels. They are stiff with a thick sole. Good for the forest, shooting range, and mountains :)

Comfortable shoes with good toe protection. Initially a bit stiff, but after a few days they adjusted to my feet. Not very breathable, but fine for cool days.

After a few hours, I really started liking these shoes. They seem very solid—confirmation will come after a few months, but for now, they're very similar to old Alpine shoes. They have a lot of declared "resistances," and I can confirm toe protection (you can even hit them with a hammer). They look much better than in the pictures. I've added photos. They're perfect for Grey/Graphite camo. Be wary of sizing—it's crazy. I have a small foot and wear 40–41 depending on the brand, i.e. 25.5 to 26.5 cm. Here, size 39 is perfect, which according to the size chart is 25.4 cm, but as I showed in the photo, it's actually about 26.2 cm—so just over 40, closer to 41. I also received socks that fit and are good quality. Price-to-quality ratio is very favorable.

Very nice shoes. I haven't tested them in the field yet, only in the city, but they are comfortable and stabilize the foot well. The leather seems to be of good quality, although with this material, proper care is definitely recommended (neglected suede tends to lose its color). The stitching also seems to be at a good level, so there's a chance nothing will fall apart too soon. We'll see "in practice" how the sole behaves. It seems solid, but it needs to be tested in different conditions. The shoes supposedly have some kind of membrane, but experience has taught me to waterproof even Gore-Tex before going outdoors. Otherwise, during walks in the rain or through marshy terrain, you might get very surprised. Overall, so far I'm satisfied and I hope the boots will last me a good few years. :)

Nice shoes, green color, a bit too big but they have a breathable membrane which makes them dry quickly. Clunky but that's what they're supposed to be like—for the forest, for the city. Comfortable and good quality.

The boots are solid and comfortable. With thick socks, my feet don't sweat excessively. It's a pity there are no half sizes—I usually wear a 46 and these have a bit more room in that size. After a month of use, I'm satisfied.

Pleasant boots, I wore them all winter and remained satisfied. Plus, it was nice that the set included decent socks. 4 stars for the boots +1 star for the socks.
