Multi-gas filter FP 211/1-P3/W-R intended for gas mask MT213/2. In combination with the mask, the filter provides complete respiratory protection against the harmful effects of toxic industrial substances in the form of solid and liquid particles.
The filter features an Rd 40x17" thread connector. The housing of the FP 211/1-P3/W-R model is made of metal. The usage time of the filter is limited by the odor threshold, i.e., a concentration of the substance not exceeding the MAC (maximum allowable concentration) perceivable by the user. Exceptionally, if the filter is used only for protection against mercury vapors, its total usage time must not exceed 50 hours.
Standard EN 14387:2004, which the filter complies with, specifies the threats against which the filter used in the mask provides protection, mainly:
- organic vapors and gases with a boiling point higher than 65 degrees,
- inorganic gases and vapors except carbon monoxide,
- sulfur dioxide and other acidic vapors and gases,
- ammonia and organic derivatives of ammonia.

I haven't tested it yet, it's sitting on the shelf just in case of emergency. Packaging is fine, long expiration date. Rather light.

The filter in a plastic housing was not vacuum packed, so it has a 5-year shelf life. I made the purchase in November, and the filter was manufactured in May - so that's very good. Fortunately, I haven't had the chance to test it in real-life conditions, but all the seals and caps were intact, so I don't expect any problems here.

The package was packed and delivered safely. Let's hope there's no need to test its actual functionality.

The filter-absorber is hermetically packed. Standard dimensions, although in the offer photo it appeared to be larger than in reality. Tested on spray treatments inside a silo, works flawlessly – it's worth investing in the version with the current expiration date, like this one in the listing (though it will probably work much longer if well stored, at least the dust part).
