Green Cell is a Polish consumer electronics and e-mobility brand founded in 2013 in Kraków by Paweł Ochyński — a mobility enthusiast who, working daily as a laptop repair technician, identified a clear gap in the market. The company launched with a modest lineup of laptop batteries and within a few years grew into one of Europe's fastest-expanding energy technology manufacturers, now serving over two and a half million customers across more than forty countries.

From Laptop Repair Shop to Global Player

Green Cell's story starts with a straightforward market observation: available laptop battery replacements were either overpriced or poor quality. Ochyński set out to close that gap by offering products that combined solid quality with competitive pricing. The success of that first product line opened the door to broader expansion — the company steadily built out its portfolio with chargers, cables, power banks, inverters, and AGM batteries, then moved into the e-mobility segment: EV charging cables, EV chargers, and batteries for electric bicycles. In 2017, Green Cell made its debut at CeBIT in Germany, marking a new chapter in Western European markets. Today, over 60% of the brand's sales come from Western markets — primarily Germany, France, and Italy.

Manufactured in Poland — Own Production Facility in Skawina

Green Cell is one of the few Polish electronics brands that has committed to domestic manufacturing. The production facility in Skawina, near Kraków, is where the company produces — among other products — e-bike batteries and selected power bank models. This isn't just a marketing claim; it means real, hands-on control over the manufacturing process, raw material quality, and final product specifications. Investing in local production sets Green Cell apart from the vast majority of competitors who operate entirely on imported components or finished goods. The brand has repeatedly appeared on lists of Europe's fastest-growing technology companies, including rankings by the Financial Times.

A Wide Range of Power Solutions

The Green Cell portfolio today spans several core categories. Batteries and accumulators — for laptops, tablets, power tools, and e-bikes, available in versions compatible with hundreds of device models. Power supplies and chargers — for laptops and mobile devices, including GaN-standard models offering compact form factors and high output. Power banks and portable power stations — ranging from slim pocket-sized units to large stations with capacities of several kilowatt-hours. Inverters — for powering 230V devices from a vehicle battery. E-mobility — Type 1 and Type 2 cables, wallboxes, on-board chargers, and mobile charging stations. AGM batteries and UPS — for alarm systems, emergency backup power, and vehicles. Every product line is regularly updated with new models and current technical standards.
