The grenade, despite appearances, is not a new invention. Its original version was used as early as around the 8th century AD in China and took the form of a shell made of ceramic or paper, and was filled with acid or quicklime, and required a fuse to be lit before throwing. To this day, we distinguish between hand grenades and battle grenades. Hand grenades are offensive, practice, defensive and all-purpose, while combat grenades are primarily fragmentation, anti-tank, and special grenades such as incendiary or smoke grenades. In addition, police and special forces use grenades designed to incapacitate but not kill the enemy - they use blinding grenades and concussion grenades for this purpose.

Most grenade pouches are made of durable polyester or nylon, which provides easy access to the grenade so that you don't have to wrestle with it while pulling it out. We don't recommend wrestling with grenades, because you may end up with a pin in your hand! This is a joke, of course, but one should remember to exercise extreme caution even with airsoft grenade replicas, as the pellets they eject have a high initial velocity and there can be dozens to hundreds of them!
