The shot for a 4.5 mm air rifle is most often made of lead, however, there are also shotgun shells made with lead-free technology and even hybrid shotgun shells - made of plastic and metal. Diabolo shotgun shells are distinguished by their shape, which defines their ballistics when fired. The basic and most popular shotgun shell is the Match model with a flat head, it is designed primarily for target shooting. In addition to the previously mentioned shotgun, there are models with designed for target destruction and piercing - these are Pointed and Hollow Point. The Domed type shotgun shell with a rounded tip is designed for long-distance shooting, it is much heavier compared to other types of shotgun shells.
