In this section we are pleased to present military patches (morale patches) in our possession. These are military insignia worn by a great many groups including soldiers, special forces operators, sports groups, paintball teams, ASG teams or motorcycle clubs. They are used to identify the group, identify the team member, emphasize the bond and pride in joint achievements. They make it easier to recognize a team member during ASG, paintball or laser tag games. Military patches also allow you to stand out and emphasize your individuality. On our site, anyone can choose a patch with the images they like. Before patches became so popular among the aforementioned groups, they were only associated with the military. In fact, they were only made famous in the 1980s by the US Army, although military insignia existed much earlier.
Military rank markings were already in use before World War I. Private soldiers in various armies had markings for identification purposes. These markings, among other things, indicated the soldier's country of origin. It was not until World War II that battle markings were introduced in Britain in the form of patches, thus patches were subject to general standardization. There were no symbols to emphasize individuality. It is also worth mentioning British and American pilots who wore large patches called Blood Chit. These were intended to help pilots shot down on foreign soil. The patch carried information in several languages about membership in the armed forces and the promise of a reward for the returned pilot. Alpha Industries' products, also available on our site, follow this custom by including such patches in their flight jackets. It was only during the Vietnam War that soldiers began to decorate parts of their uniforms and even aircraft on a large scale. Pin-up girls became popular again. Morale patches are very popular among veterans. The people wearing them express pride and a desire to identify with other former soldiers in this way. Also, many veterans sew on replicas of patches, in order not to destroy the original.
At Militaria.pl you can find a huge selection of patches depicting a great variety of content. In our offer you will find popular blood groups, markings of popular special units, historical markings of the Polish Army, allergy markings, pin-up girl and many other also humorous copies. However, it should be remembered that when wearing a blood group patch, paramedics will not take them into account when giving us help. In this case, we recommend minting an immortal with personal information. In our offer we have morale patches both handmade and machine sewn. They are made using permanent digital embroidery. Also, the development of modern materials has made PVC patches very popular, which are characterized by excellent detail rendering and legibility. Also interesting is the offer of military patches with honeycomb structure, with information visible in the infrared band. Current patches are lined with Velcro, so you can freely attach and detach them using velcro panels. A huge selection of patches can be found at Militaria.pl.
