Signal flare 20 minutes - I haven't used it yet so I don't know how long it will burn, but it is big, much larger than a chemical light, about three times bigger, so it takes up a lot of space. I keep it in my bag and hope I won't need it in an emergency situation.

It is not suitable for holding in the hand like a marine flare. It is ignited by striking it against the striker located in the plastic cap. The burning time is even a little over 5 minutes. The light is bright and clear. Remember that the whole flare burns out, and during operation, the flare melts, drips, and ultimately leaves a mark, so be careful. This product has become a permanent part of my equipment.

Useful thing. Worth having in case of emergency and not only. Burning time? I haven't checked. However, I bought it and intend to use it only when necessary :) In the car or during trips outside the city, it seems almost mandatory. If you can't take care of your own and your loved ones' safety, waiting for someone else to do it for you might not bring the results you expect.
