Alpha Industries MA-1 TT Two Tone Jacket - Dark Maroon

The MA-1 jacket in deep maroon is crafted from robust, tear-resistant fabric, offering reliable protection from cold, wind, and moisture. Designed with a double-sided construction inspired by its original use for USAF pilots, the jacket can be worn traditionally or reversed to its high-visibility orange side for enhanced safety in low-visibility situations. The exterior is crafted from tough, tear-resistant nylon, providing protection against wind and moisture. The MA-1 is reversible and can be worn with either side facing out. The lining features a high-visibility orange shade. This unique design element traces back to the original function of MA-1 jackets for USAF pilots—after emergencies or being shot down, the visible lining increased their chances of being found by rescue teams. Today, the same clever feature enhances safety by improving visibility when walking along poorly lit roads outside urban areas.

The MA-1 TT model features a main closure equipped with a single-direction zipper, finished with an eco-leather pull for ease of use when wearing gloves. An internal thermal strip runs along the zipper, providing additional protection against cold air. At the collar, cuffs, and waistband, elastic drawcords ensure protection from the cold and deliver a snug fit tailored to the wearer’s shape.

Outfitted with five large pockets, the jacket offers generous storage capacity:

• two front pockets secured with flaps and snap fasteners,
• two internal compartments also fastened with snaps,
• and a single pocket on the left sleeve, featuring a zipper closure.

A distinctive Remove Before Flight tag is attached to the sleeve near the pocket, imparting a military-inspired look. Additionally, the left sleeve bears a label displaying the manufacturer's logo.
