Temperatures and usage conditions
The usage temperatures of the Alpinus Warm sleeping bag specified according to EN 13537:
- T-comfort: 8 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
- T-limit: 4 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -9 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which you can survive in the sleeping bag. This is not a value recommended for standard use.
Durable polyester with Rip-stop weave, holofiber filling
The exterior is constructed from robust 210T polyester, enhanced with a Rip-Stop weave. This design bolsters the fabric’s resistance to both abrasion and tearing, while the integrated threads create a mesh structure that fortifies the material and prevents damage from spreading. The interior is lined with a soft, comfortable fabric for added comfort. Warmth is provided by a synthetic holofiber filling. The anti-allergenic insulation delivers reliable thermal insulation performance, maintaining its effectiveness even in damp conditions. Heat retention is ensured in cooler weather, while protection against overheating is maintained during warmer conditions.
Right-side zipper, Anti Snag system
Fitted with a two-way SBS zipper on the right side, the sleeping bag can be completely opened to function as a quilt or joined with another sleeping bag featuring a zipper on the left side. The Anti Snag system ensures the zipper glides smoothly without catching the fabric. A dedicated lock mechanism keeps the zipper securely closed throughout the night. For enhanced airflow, the bottom section may be unzipped independently.
