I threw it into my backpack for a trip and was pleasantly surprised. The portion is substantial, it fills you up well, and the taste is much better than I expected from a combat ration. Really a cool option for the outdoors or in an emergency.

A very poor food ration in many respects: 1. The meals are modest in terms of ingredients, especially the meat. In addition, they're filled with palm oil and flavor enhancers. They are not tasty. 2. The chemical heater smells strongly when activated - I do not recommend using the food heater in a closed space. 3. The set is missing the paper bag mentioned in the instructions for heating the food. 4. The water pouch for activating the heater contains only 60ml, but 100ml is required for proper heating. 5. There are only 2 hot meals, while competitive sets offer 3. 6. The set is not optimized for weight - it is heavy.

A military-civilian food ration meant for one day. Maybe a soldier exhausted after a whole day of tactical activities would eat it all in one day, but a tourist definitely wouldn’t. For me, this portion is enough for one and a half days. The food is tasty and nutritious. I recommend the product and the store Militaria.pl.
