Electronic in-ear hearing protectors with an adjustable noise attenuation level, equipped with a Bluetooth 5.3 module. They enable very good hearing of ambient sounds and easy conversation with people nearby. Thanks to the built-in SonicShieldX function, when ambient sound exceeds a level dangerous to hearing, the protectors automatically attenuate noise while amplifying other sounds, such as conversation. The earphones have an IP64 protection rating for dust resistance and IP65 protection against water and sweat.
SonicShieldX technology reduces harmful impulse sounds while improving speech clarity. The hearing enhancement mode offers five adjustment levels. This makes it possible to match the intensity of ambient sounds to current conditions. The earphones are equipped with a Bass Boost acoustic chamber that enhances low tones and improves sound quality.
Hear-Through mode and hearing protection are controlled via a touch panel. The physical buttons are used to operate the Bluetooth function. This separation of controls makes it easier to use the individual modes. The Audio Balance function limits the Bluetooth volume level when using Hear-Through mode to maintain hearing protection as the priority. Call Aware mode allows phone calls while maintaining awareness of ambient sounds.
The protectors are powered by built-in rechargeable batteries, which can be charged using a USB-C cable. Runtime depends on the selected mode:
- hearing enhancement: up to 40 hours
- Bluetooth: up to 20 hours
- combined Bluetooth and hearing enhancement mode: up to 15 hours
The Lock-n-Loaded Fit system uses concha locks and interchangeable tips in several sizes, helping to fit the earphones to the ear and keep them in place. Thanks to the interchangeable tips, the model can be adapted to the individual characteristics of the user and to ambient noise:
- Max Protect foam tips: 26 dB SNR / 21 dB NRR
- standard foam tips: 26 dB SNR / 21 dB NRR
- silicone tips: 24 dB SNR / 17 dB NRR
Foam tips are recommended for louder working environments. The electronic system compresses loud sounds exceeding 85 dB, providing effective hearing protection while shooting or working with machinery.
