  • 1:50000 – commonly utilized on standard topographic maps,
  • 1:63360 – frequently used in American orienteering, where 1 inch on the map equals 1 mile in the terrain.

With this design, the compass supports straightforward and efficient route mapping as well as precise distance calculation.

Compact and lightweight, with protection against loss

Constructed from durable plastic, the compass boasts excellent damage resistance while remaining exceptionally lightweight. Measuring approximately 12.5 x 6 cm and weighing just 41 g, the device can be conveniently stored in any pocket or backpack.

    Very nice compass, the needle works even quickly and well, the rotation of the ring requires a bit of force but that's good. You can't see it in the pictures but it has several other functions and is similar to the Silva compass, only much cheaper. I recommend buying it for expeditions.
