I tested it in the Croatian mountains at 35°C. Average cooling properties. The water evaporates quickly and needs to be replenished. When you carry a limited amount of water, it's better to drink than to cool with this scarf.

It works as it should :) After being hydrated, it turns into a kind of sausage and holds water quite a long time. In the heat it helps a bit, but really the effect is there if you chill it in the fridge :) The only minus, probably for some a big one, is after filling it's, well, you could say a bit sticky to the touch.

I bought this scarf for the second time because unfortunately I left the first one at work (stage work. Every week in a different city). I recommend it to everyone who works in the heat. I used it for years and it always provided pleasant cool in the highest temperatures.

Indeed, the scarf accumulates water in the crystals and turns into a 'sausage' when wrapped around the neck. It brings minimal relief, but in hot days the cooling is not particularly noticeable.

The purchase met my expectations in terms of functionality. As described. Excellent workmanship for this price.

Strange but very interesting

Such a dry opinion after receiving it does not reflect its properties. I will test it during hiking and write more. For now, it has been soaked and is being checked in room conditions on a treadmill and it performs well.

Well, for now the temperature doesn't require it, so I've only tested it at home. It looks fairly solid, a small minus for aesthetics, which the manufacturer could improve. I recommend it.
