Berghaus Tactical SMPS Crusader EC-FA Medium Backpack 90 + 20 l - Cedar
A backpack in Cedar color with a capacity of 110 liters (90 + 20 liters). An advanced expedition model designed for use in off-road conditions. Its large capacity and numerous pockets make it ideal for a wide range of activities, including expeditions requiring the transport of a large amount of gear. The design ensures optimal weight distribution and high carrying comfort even when fully loaded.
This model was designed as part of the SMPS (Special Mission Pack System), which allows for expansion and customization of the backpack depending on your needs. This system enables integration with a wide range of Berghaus accessories from the BMPS/FMPS/MMPS/SMPS series, such as additional pockets, transport modules, and capacity-expanding components.
durable Armadura 1000D
The backpack is made of Armadura 100D fabric, which offers excellent resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The dense weave of the fibers increases their durability and reduces their susceptibility to tearing during heavy use. The fabric’s structure also makes it easy to clean and limits moisture absorption, which is important when using the backpack in changing weather conditions.
Main compartment with front access system, 2 detachable side pockets
The total capacity of the backpack is 110 liters (90 + 20 liters). The main compartment, with a capacity of 90 liters, is closed with a flap, and access to its interior is also possible from the front thanks to the FA (Front Access) system. This design allows for quick access to the contents without having to unpack the entire backpack.
Additional 2 detachable MMPS side pockets (with a combined capacity of 20 liters) enhance functionality and allow for better organization of gear. The pockets can be used as a separate, compact backpack—after zipping them together and attaching the shoulder straps stored in the compartment.
additional loading space
The model’s design allows for the transport of long and non-standard items, such as technical equipment or elongated devices. The central section of the backpack is designed for secure load stabilization, enabling safe carrying along the spine.
The system of straps and mounting points allows for integration with additional transport modules compatible with the SMPS system. This enhances the backpack’s functionality in field applications, enabling the comfortable transport of long items without compromising stability or ergonomics.
molle/pals webbing, compression straps, hydration system compatibility
The backpack is equipped with numerous compression straps, which help stabilize the load and adjust the volume to your current needs. The MOLLE/PALS strap system allows you to expand the backpack with additional pockets and accessories. The model is also compatible with hydration and communication systems, which enhances its functionality for tactical and outdoor use.
Falanx carry system
Falanx carrying system is based on a lightweight, aluminum frame that stabilizes the structure and ensures proper weight distribution. It prevents the backpack from deforming and increases comfort during long hikes.
The ergonomically contoured shoulder straps, as well as the hip and chest straps, are equipped with a quick-release system, which enhances safety and ease of use. Additional springy panels on the back improve the fit and enhance carrying comfort.
2 sturdy carry handles
The model features 2 sturdy carrying handles (at the front and back) that make it easy to carry the backpack. The well-thought-out design, along with numerous pockets and attachment points, makes it easy to organize your gear and allows for quick access to your equipment.

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.
