Berghaus Tactical SMPS Crusader EC-FA/SA Backpack 90 + 20 l - Cedar
Backpack in Cedar color with a total capacity of 110 liters (90 + 20 liters). This is an advanced expedition model designed for use in demanding field conditions. The large capacity and numerous pockets make it ideal for a wide range of activities, including expeditions that require carrying substantial amounts of equipment. Its construction is designed to provide optimal weight distribution and a high level of carrying comfort, even when fully loaded.
This model was created as part of the SMPS (Special Mission Pack System), which allows for expansion and configuration of the backpack as needed. The system enables integration with a wide range of Berghaus accessories from the BMPS/FMPS/MMPS/SMPS series, such as extra pockets, transport modules or capacity-enhancing elements.
durable 1000D Armadura
The backpack is made from 1000D Armadura material, which is characterized by excellent resistance to abrasions and mechanical damage. The dense weave of fibres increases durability and makes the fabric less prone to tearing during intensive use. The material’s structure also makes it easy to clean and offers reduced moisture absorption, which is important when using the backpack in changing weather conditions.
Main compartment with front and side access system, 2 detachable side pockets
The total capacity of the backpack is 110 liters (90 + 20 liters). The main compartment, with a capacity of 90 liters, is closed with a lid and can also be accessed from the front thanks to the FA (Front Access) system, and from the side via SA (Side Access). This solution allows quick access to the contents without having to unpack everything.
An additional 2 detachable MMPS side pockets (total capacity of 20 liters) increase functionality and allow for better organization of your gear. The pockets can also be used as a compact daypack by joining them with a zipper and attaching the shoulder straps stored in the compartment.
additional loading space
The design allows you to carry long or unusually shaped items such as technical gear or devices with an extended form factor. The central part of the backpack is adapted for stable cargo attachment, ensuring it can be safely carried along the spine.
The system of straps and mounting points enables integration with additional transport modules compatible with SMPS. This expands the pack’s functionality in the field and allows for comfortable transport of long items without sacrificing stability or ergonomics.
molle/pals webbing, compression straps, hydration system compatible
The backpack is fitted with numerous compression straps that stabilize your load and allow you to adjust volume as needed. The MOLLE/PALS webbing system allows you to add extra pockets and accessories. The model is also compatible with a hydration system and communication systems, increasing its functionality for both tactical and outdoor use.
Falanx suspension system
The Falanx suspension system uses a lightweight aluminum frame that stabilizes the construction and provides proper weight distribution. This prevents the backpack from deforming and improves comfort on long treks.
Ergonomically shaped shoulder straps, hip belt and chest strap are equipped with a quick-release system, improving safety and ease of use. Additional flexible back panels enhance fit and support carrying comfort.
2 sturdy carry handles
This model features 2 sturdy carry handles (front and rear) to make carrying easier. The thoughtful design and numerous pockets and attachment points help organize your gear for quick access.

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.
