General-purpose folding knife crafted by Evolved EDC. The Wharncliffe blade is constructed from Elmax stainless steel, renowned for outstanding impact toughness, as well as excellent wear and corrosion resistance. Featuring a hollow grind, the blade showcases a hand-applied satin finish for a refined semi-matte appearance. The blade achieves a hardness of 60-61 HRC. Jimping (knurling) is integrated into the spine at the thumb rest, ensuring enhanced blade control during cutting tasks.
Deployment is achieved via a thumb hole, while a robust Frame Lock mechanism secures the blade in place. The ball bearing system in the knife’s main pivot provides smooth and rapid blade deployment.
A contoured titanium frame is paired with micarta handle scales, a composite material comprised of canvas and epoxy resin. A spring clip in the tip-up/r configuration allows for convenient everyday carry. The handle incorporates a dedicated hole for attaching a lanyard or leash. A nylon sheath with a zipper closure is included for secure storage.
