Bestechman Lanza Damascus G10 Folding Knife by Grzegorz "Kombou" Grabarski - Khaki/Black

Folding EDC knife (Every Day Carry - for everyday carry) with a 87.5 mm long blade and a Spear-Point profile. The blade is made of pattern-welded Damascus. The handle scales are made of G10 laminate. In the open position, the blade is locked by a Liner Lock mechanism. Jimping has been placed on the spine of the blade for thumb support. The knife was designed by Polish designer Grzegorz “Kombou” Grabarski.

Grzegorz “Kombou” Grabarski is a well-known Polish knife designer who draws inspiration from pop culture, video games, nature, and biomechanics, combining modern design with futuristic, organic forms. He has collaborated with the Brrr… Knives brand, and currently his designs are created in cooperation with Bestech Knives and have gained international recognition among collectors.

pattern-welded Damascus, Spear-Point profile

The Spear-Point profile blade is made of pattern-welded Damascus. The blade length is 87.5 mm and its thickness is 2.2 mm. The edge is finished with a flat grind, which ensures good cutting properties. The blade is finished using the Acid-Etched method, which gives it a characteristic, contrasting pattern.

Liner Lock, flipper

The knife is opened using a flipper, and this process is improved by placing a ball bearing on the main axis of the knife. In the open position, the blade is locked with a Liner Lock mechanism.

Ergonomic handle, clip

Ergonomically shaped handle scales are made of G10 laminate. An additional cutout for the index finger provides a better grip during use. Comfortable carry is ensured by a resilient steel deep-carry clip (tip-up, right, left carry) allowing easy attachment of the knife to a belt or pocket edge.

Damascus steel is a composite material created by combining multiple layers of different types of steel with varying properties. Repeated forging and welding creates a structure with high strength, flexibility, and hardness. Layers with a higher carbon content are responsible for the sharpness and durability of the edges, while nickel alloy steel increases corrosion resistance and provides a contrasting pattern. After etching the surface, a unique, wavy pattern characteristic of each piece is revealed. Thanks to its combination of functional and aesthetic properties, Damascus steel is used in premium knives, bladed weapons, and collector's knives.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.

Damascus Acid-Etched is a chemical etching process in which the blade is treated with an iron chloride solution. The reaction gives the steel a dark, matte shade and a subtle texture, reducing light reflections and improving corrosion resistance. Particularly spectacular effects are achieved with Damascus steel, where differences in the composition of the metal layers are exposed in the form of a contrasting, deep pattern that emphasizes its unique character. As a result, Damascus blades gain additional protection and a decorative appearance that is appreciated by both users and collectors.

    Small, nimble, handy, with a surprisingly long blade for such a little knife. It resembles a straight razor a bit. Very well thought out, sturdy clip, thanks to it it doesn’t get lost in the pocket. I named it "little herring".

    The knife is very small and elegant 🖘 sharp as a razor. The finish is very nice, a typical gentleman's knife. I'm a bit concerned about its corrosion resistance, but as a knife used for work in various weather conditions, I have to take into account that it might start to rust.
