Bestechman Lanza Damascus by Grzegorz “Kombou” Grabarski Folding Knife - Rosewood

An EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife with a blade length of 87.5 mm and a Spear-Point profile. The blade is made of pattern-welded damascus steel. The handle scales are made of rosewood. When open, the blade is locked in place by a Liner Lock mechanism. The spine of the blade features jimping for thumb support. The knife was designed by Polish designer Grzegorz “Kombou” Grabarski.

Grzegorz “Kombou” Grabarski is a well-known Polish knife designer who draws inspiration from pop culture, video games, nature, and biomechanics, combining modern design with futuristic, organic forms. He has collaborated with the Brrr… Knives brand, and his designs are currently produced in collaboration with Bestech Knives, having gained international recognition among collectors.

pattern-welded Damascus, Spear-Point profile

The Spear-Point blade is made of pattern-welded damascus steel. The blade is 87.5 mm long and 2.2 mm thick. The blade features a flat grind, which ensures good cutting performance. The blade has been finished using the Acid-Etched method, which gives it a distinctive, contrasting pattern.

Liner Lock, flipper

The knife is opened using a flipper; this process has been improved by incorporating a ball bearing into the knife's main axis. When open, the blade is locked in place by a Liner Lock mechanism.

Ergonomic handle, clip

The handle scales are made of palisander, or Dalbergia nigra (rosewood). This material is characterized by high durability and high density. The ergonomic shape of the handle ensures that the knife sits securely in the hand. An additional notch for the index finger provides a better grip when working with the tool. Convenient carrying is ensured by a spring-loaded, steel clip of the deep-carry type (tip-up, right, or left carry), which allows the knife to be easily attached to a belt or the edge of a pocket.

    The knife is very small and elegant 🖘 sharp as a razor. The finish is very nice, a typical gentleman's knife. I'm a bit concerned about its corrosion resistance, but as a knife used for work in various weather conditions, I have to take into account that it might start to rust.
