Boker Damast Annual Folding Knife - Black

Folding EDC (Every Day Carry) knife equipped with a 98.5 mm blade and Drop-Point profile. The knife is suitable for daily tasks and outdoor activities. It features a Back Lock mechanism and carbon fiber handle scales. It comes from a limited edition containing 999 pieces. The project was designed by Lucas Burnley.

Drop-Point blade, flat grind

The knife is equipped with a solid blade with a Drop-Point profile, made from 160 layers of pattern-welded damast with a well-visible, characteristic pattern. The hand-forged blade has been finished with a flat grind, which, combined with the small thickness of the blade, ensures good cutting properties. The model is finished with acid etching, highlighting the characteristic damast pattern.

Carbon fiber scales, steel clip

The scales of the ergonomically contoured handle are made from damage-resistant black carbon fiber. Daily comfortable carrying is ensured by a springy steel clip in a tip-up position, allowing easy attachment of the knife to a belt or pocket edge.

Thumb stud, Back Lock

The knife is opened using a double-sided thumb stud with the possibility of removal. The blade is locked with a Back Lock mechanism.

Boker is a German knife manufacturer with a tradition dating back to the 17th century, known for its distinctive chestnut tree logo – “Tree Brand.” In 1830, the company was already producing up to 2000 sabers per week, which were sent to battlefields across Europe. In the 19th century, it expanded its operations to the US, Canada, and Mexico, establishing recognizable subsidiaries. Today, the main factory in Solingen specializes in handcrafted collector's and utility knives, including those made of steel recovered from historical objects such as the Tripitz battleship. The brand offers four lines: Boker Manufaktur Solingen, Boker Plus, Magnum, and Arbolito. Boker products are valued by collectors, uniformed services, and chefs around the world.

Damast feature
Damast
Damascus steel is a composite material created by combining multiple layers of different types of steel with varying properties. Repeated forging and welding creates a structure with high strength, flexibility, and hardness. Layers with a higher carbon content are responsible for the sharpness and durability of the edges, while nickel alloy steel increases corrosion resistance and provides a contrasting pattern. After etching the surface, a unique, wavy pattern characteristic of each piece is revealed. Thanks to its combination of functional and aesthetic properties, Damascus steel is used in premium knives, bladed weapons, and collector's knives.
Carbon Fiber feature
Carbon Fiber
Carbon fiber is a composite material that is exceptionally light and very strong, considered one of the most advanced materials used in knife manufacturing. It is made of thin carbon fibers embedded in epoxy resin, which are then pressed and hardened to form an extremely rigid and resistant structure. Used in knife handles, it provides high resistance to mechanical damage, is not affected by moisture or extreme temperatures, and is chemically inert and non-conductive. It is distinguished by its characteristic layered weave, which gives each handle a unique appearance, particularly valued in premium knives.
Damascus Acid-Etched feature
Damascus Acid-Etched
Damascus Acid-Etched is a chemical etching process in which the blade is treated with an iron chloride solution. The reaction gives the steel a dark, matte shade and a subtle texture, reducing light reflections and improving corrosion resistance. Particularly spectacular effects are achieved with Damascus steel, where differences in the composition of the metal layers are exposed in the form of a contrasting, deep pattern that emphasizes its unique character. As a result, Damascus blades gain additional protection and a decorative appearance that is appreciated by both users and collectors.
