Boker Magnum Leatherneck Hunter Fixed Blade Knife

A versatile knife engineered for both everyday carry (EDC) and rugged outdoor use, featuring a design inspired by the classic tactical blades carried by USMC (United States Marine Corps) personnel.

Drop-point blade made of 440A steel

The Drop-Point blade is crafted from 440A stainless steel, renowned for its long-lasting sharpness and ease of resharpening. Offering excellent resistance to corrosion, the blade maintains integrity even under mechanical strain. A robust steel cross guard is included to prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade during use.

Leather handle, lanyard hole, nylon sheath

The handle features compressed leather rings that provide a rugged, non-slip surface for a secure and confident grip. A hole positioned at the base allows a cord to be attached, offering additional security against loss. The package is completed with a nylon sheath equipped with a belt loop for convenient carry.

Boker is a German knife manufacturer with a tradition dating back to the 17th century, known for its distinctive chestnut tree logo – “Tree Brand.” In 1830, the company was already producing up to 2000 sabers per week, which were sent to battlefields across Europe. In the 19th century, it expanded its operations to the US, Canada, and Mexico, establishing recognizable subsidiaries. Today, the main factory in Solingen specializes in handcrafted collector's and utility knives, including those made of steel recovered from historical objects such as the Tripitz battleship. The brand offers four lines: Boker Manufaktur Solingen, Boker Plus, Magnum, and Arbolito. Boker products are valued by collectors, uniformed services, and chefs around the world.

Seems to be well made and solid. The sheath doesn't quite match stylistically. I ordered it with an engraving, which is nice, but you can see slight streaks between the letters at a certain light angle. The order was fulfilled surprisingly quickly, which was also impressive. The rating is close to 5, but not a perfect 5 ;)

Worth buying, solid blade, stylish, well balanced. Another Boker knife for me, the first one was the mini flipper titanium and neither that one nor this one disappoints in terms of quality. Similarly, the warranty service—one word: worth it.

Great knife, does the job, good steel, poor sheath. The sheath from an Elk Ridge knife fits it perfectly. I recommend this knife for the forest. The quality for this price is sufficient.

    Worth recommending for the price.

After using this knife for a longer time, I can say it's not bad. The 440 steel loses its sharpness quickly, but it's also easy to resharpen. Skinning game or scraping fish is doable with it. The leather handle can be greased from time to time with some cream. The knife is really nice and solid.

Solidly made knife. Good value for the price.

Great knife for a gift and for a collection. The sheath, as has already been mentioned, could be better, but the price isn't excessive so there's nothing to complain about.

The knife is beautiful but the sheath doesn't match the knife's style at all.

I'm not complaining about this knife, although they could have included a better sheath—the one provided doesn't even match its style.
