Boker Plus M.U.K. Knife - Orange

A compact hunting knife with a fixed blade and full tang construction designed for precise field work, food preparation, and minor bushcraft tasks. The Skinner blade is made of Swedish 14C28N stainless steel which provides excellent cutting performance and resistance to harsh outdoor conditions. The ergonomic handle in orange is made of durable G10 laminate, and the set includes a matching Kydex sheath.

14C28N stainless steel

The blade is made of Swedish 14C28N stainless steel, which is valued for its high corrosion resistance and its ability to retain a working edge during intensive outdoor use. This material is characterised by an optimal balance between hardness and toughness, which translates into high resistance to chipping. 14C28N steel is also relatively easy to sharpen, allowing its cutting properties to be quickly restored in field conditions.

Skinner blade

The Skinner-profile blade is 60 mm long and 2.8 mm thick. It is inspired by classic Nessmuk knives, with a clearly defined belly. The blade features a plain cutting edge with a flat grind. The blade is finished with a satin finish, which gives it a semi-matte texture that reduces light reflections and increases scratch resistance. Jimping on the spine of the blade increases safety and control over the tool when performing precise tasks.

G10 laminate handle

The handle is made of lightweight and mechanically damage-resistant G10 laminate in orange, ensuring excellent visibility of the knife in natural surroundings. Its ergonomic shape and finger groove guarantee a secure grip and safe operation, even when the hand is wet. The hole at the end of the handle allows a safety cord or lanyard to be threaded through.

Kydex sheath

The set includes a sheath made of durable Kydex. It ensures safe carry of the knife and quick access to the tool in emergency situations. The sheath construction has been precisely matched to the knife profile, preventing it from accidentally falling out.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Boker.

Boker is a German knife brand with a tradition dating back to the 17th century, known for its distinctive chestnut tree logo - "Tree Brand." As early as 1830, the company was producing as many as 2,000 sabers per week, which reached European battlefields. In the 19th century, it expanded its operations to the USA, Canada, and Mexico, creating recognizable branches. Today, the main factory in Solingen specializes in handmade collector's and utility knives, also using steel recovered from historical objects, such as the battleship Tirpitz. The brand offers four lines: Boker Manufaktur Solingen, Boker Plus, Magnum, and Arbolito. Boker products are valued by collectors, uniformed services, and chefs around the world.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Kydex feature
Kydex
Kydex is a thermoplastic, durable material commonly used in the production of knife sheaths. It is resistant to impact, scratches, and changing weather conditions, and has very low moisture absorption. The sheaths are molded directly onto the knife, which guarantees a perfect fit, high durability, and complete safety—the blade remains securely in place even during dynamic movements. Due to its durability and customization options, Kydex has gained popularity in the tactical and survival industries. Sheaths are often equipped with additional mounting holes with metal eyelets, which increase their durability and allow for easy attachment of buckles, clips, or loops to a belt or harness.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
