Boker Solingen M4 Sherman Damast Folding Knife - Rose Gold

An EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife equipped with a 75 mm long blade and Clip-Point profile. The folder will work well for everyday activities and outdoor activities. It is equipped with Frame Lock and handle scales made of durable carbon fiber. It comes from a limited edition containing 500 pieces.

The blade is made from materials salvaged from an American M4 Sherman tank, developed in 1940 and still regarded today as one of the most recognisable tanks in history. Produced between 1942 and 1945, it remained in service until 1957 and saw action on almost every front of the Second World War. It was used not only in the United States and Canada, but also in the United Kingdom, the Free French Forces, China and the Soviet Union.

Clip-Point blade, flat grind

The knife features a solid Clip-Point profile blade which is made from 80 layers of pattern-welded Damascus with a well-visible pattern reminiscent of tank tracks. The hand-forged blade is flat-ground, which combined with a small blade thickness provides good cutting properties.

Carbon fibre scales, steel clip

The scales of the ergonomically shaped handle are made from damage-resistant black carbon fibre. The springy steel clip in a tip-up position allows easy attachment of the knife to a belt or pocket edge, ensuring comfortable everyday carry. The blade is additionally protected with a Gold Rose coating, which increases corrosion resistance.

Thumb stud, Frame Lock

A double-sided thumb stud is placed on the blade, allowing easy opening with either the right or left hand. The blade in the open position is secured by a Frame Lock, equipped with an intuitive button that pushes back the frame, enabling quick and convenient opening and closing of the knife with one hand even in gloves. An additional sliding lock prevents accidental opening or closing of the blade, enhancing user safety during carrying and use.

Damast feature
Damast
Damascus steel is a composite material created by combining multiple layers of different types of steel with varying properties. Repeated forging and welding creates a structure with high strength, flexibility, and hardness. Layers with a higher carbon content are responsible for the sharpness and durability of the edges, while nickel alloy steel increases corrosion resistance and provides a contrasting pattern. After etching the surface, a unique, wavy pattern characteristic of each piece is revealed. Thanks to its combination of functional and aesthetic properties, Damascus steel is used in premium knives, bladed weapons, and collector's knives.
Carbon Fiber feature
Carbon Fiber
Carbon fiber is a composite material that is exceptionally light and very strong, considered one of the most advanced materials used in knife manufacturing. It is made of thin carbon fibers embedded in epoxy resin, which are then pressed and hardened to form an extremely rigid and resistant structure. Used in knife handles, it provides high resistance to mechanical damage, is not affected by moisture or extreme temperatures, and is chemically inert and non-conductive. It is distinguished by its characteristic layered weave, which gives each handle a unique appearance, particularly valued in premium knives.
