An interesting book showing what the Wild West looked like in the 19th century.

We are transported to another wonderful world. I recommend it.

Nice western. It's not a bushcraft guidebook but rather memories from the life of a trapper trading and fighting with Indians. As a child I loved westerns on Sunday afternoons, but this book didn't grab me. It was supposedly about the fate of good and bad Indians and a trader trapper who made his living and sometimes had to defend himself from their attacks.

Very interesting, I recommend it.

It draws you in from the first page. Super.

Wonderfully written memoirs about the times when there were still wildernesses in America. It reads very quickly and leaves you wanting more.

If you like reading westerns, this is a must-read! The book is written with a light touch and a good dose of humor, making it a book for one, at most two evenings.

An excellent book, it describes the lives of real trappers. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend buying this book.
