The blanket is quite warm, although it obviously can’t handle sub-zero temperatures by itself. Personally, I prefer woolen blankets over fleece (polyester) ones, but the low weight means that if we’re talking about a blanket to carry in or on a backpack, there’s really nothing to discuss. The transport straps (let’s not joke about calling it a “cover”) are practical.
