The outer shell is crafted from a robust fabric blend of polyester (80%) and cotton (20%) to ensure both durability and breathability. A lightweight polyester lining on the interior enhances overall comfort during wear. Included in the set is a detachable liner with synthetic insulation, delivering excellent thermal performance and reliable cold protection. For added practicality, the liner is securely fastened with buttons at the neck and sleeves. With the liner in place, the jacket can be comfortably worn throughout the year.

The M65 jacket features a zipper closure concealed by a snap-button storm flap, which helps to preserve heat and shield against strong winds entering through the zipper. The storm flap also acts as a barrier, preventing the zipper from snagging due to dirt, dust, sand, or frozen moisture and snow.
