BROS 50% DEET Mosquito and Tick Pump Spray - 130ml

Innovative repellent against mosquitoes including tropical mosquitoes, ticks and blackflies. The high concentration of DEET (50%) provides long-lasting protection. The product is ideal for all lovers of tourism, forest hikes, anglers and allotment owners.

Duration of action up to 12 hours

Protects against common mosquitoes for up to 12 hours, tropical mosquitoes and blackflies for up to 10 hours, and ticks for up to 9 hours.

product ingredients

N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide, or DEET, is currently the most effective publicly available repellent against mosquitoes and ticks. The effectiveness of the Bros preparation has been confirmed in laboratory tests.

Due to the very high concentration of DEET the preparation must not be applied to plastic e.g. glasses, watches, cameras, video cameras etc., synthetic fabrics including so-called breathable or membrane fabrics e.g. Gore-Tex, as well as painted and varnished surfaces.

Directions for use

Spray areas exposed to bites from a distance of 15 cm. Apply the repellent to the face and neck indirectly - spray onto the hand and then spread.

    Good product, a must-have for long forest trips. It protects really well against ticks; usually after a few hours in the forest I would find several on me, but after using the liquid—not a single one. In addition, it works against mosquitoes; the only thing it does not work on is deer keds. Other than that, the product is fine.

    A very good mosquito repellent, works instantly. Surprisingly, it even smells nice and does not reek of suffocating chemicals. However, it is useless against ticks (like other DEET-based products). On the plus side, price-to-quality and product size ratio is good.

    The product is very effective, especially during longer stays in the forest, by the lake, or in nature. The 50% DEET content works great on mosquitoes and ticks – after using it, you can immediately see a noticeably smaller number of insects. The packaging is handy, the spray functions properly, and applying the product is not difficult. The 130 ml capacity will last a long time with reasonable use. The smell is noticeable, but that's normal for this type of preparation. It's a very practical solution for hikes, fishing, or camping. The downside is that due to its strong concentration, it's better to apply it cautiously on sensitive skin and not to overdo the amount.

    BROS makes good products for insects. I’ve used various agents and the result was always more than satisfactory. Additionally, it’s not expensive. The size is ideal to take in a backpack or on a bike, and when it’s finished, the bottle with atomizer is useful for mixing permethrin solution (also available at Militaria.pl). ;)
