The external shell is crafted from ultralight nylon featuring a micro-ripstop weave. This fabric combines outstanding durability with superior breathability. Its tight structure ensures that down remains securely inside the chambers, even after extensive use, preventing any leakage. The nylon surface is finished with DWR hydrophobic impregnation (Durable Water Repellency), which stops both the fabric and down from absorbing moisture. Water forms beads on the outer layer, rolling off efficiently.

One face of the underquilt comes in dark green, allowing for effective camouflage in natural environments. The opposite side displays a bright orange color, providing high visibility when attention is needed. The underquilt offers reversible use, adapting easily to varying operational requirements.

Owing to its innovative design, the Underquilt serves not only as an underquilt but can function as a comfortable sleeping bag, topquilt, quilt, or an extra insulating layer for a sleeping bag. The distinct quilted form maximizes the insulating efficiency of the down fill. H-shaped down baffle construction (known as a warm seam) eliminates cold spots by ensuring consistent insulation coverage. Enhanced insulation capabilities are a result of this precise construction.

In regions protecting the chest, shoulders, and head, the Underquilt Glow features a 140 cm width and baffles formed as rectangular pads. This design prevents down from migrating toward the lower section of the quilt, ensuring the torso and head remain well-insulated. The narrower segment intended to insulate the legs uses specially designed longitudinal baffles, providing optimal warmth retention and efficient down distribution.

The underquilt can be quickly and effortlessly adjusted to fit any hammock. The kit comes with two 1.25 m bungee cords featuring specialized tensioners with self-locking hooks. This design enables users to adjust the underquilt with ease, remaining comfortably inside the hammock without applying excessive force. When the hammock is not in use and you plan to sleep on flat terrain, such as beneath a tarp, the Underquilt Glow also functions as a sleeping bag or topquilt. Simply wrap the bungees around the sleeping mat and secure the quilt by attaching the hooks to the tensioners, which keeps it firmly in place.

Featuring a power regulation valve, the burner enables precise control over flame intensity. With a 3 kW power output, boiling 1 liter of water takes approximately 3 minutes. Compatibility with screw-in cartridges ensures ease of use. Outfitted with folding arms and a serrated pot support, the stove offers stability for cookware during operation and reduces the risk of slippage. The integrated piezoelectric ignition guarantees quick and easy startup, while the construction is engineered for reliable function in low temperatures – down to -6 deg. C.

The kit also includes a folding cartridge stabilizer, enhancing the stability of the entire setup on uneven surfaces to ensure safe operation in outdoor conditions.
