EXO Barrier, FMC, and UWB Coatings
All air-to-glass interfaces are coated with FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) anti-reflective coatings, which minimize unwanted reflections and light loss as light passes through the optical system. UWB (Ultra Wide Band Coating) is an additional anti-reflective coating applied to all lenses. EXO Protection is an advanced protective coating that prevents water droplets and dust from adhering and is scratch-resistant, making it easier to observe even in the rain. This technology also helps prevent condensation from our breath.
The rifle scope’s tube is filled with dry nitrogen and sealed with O-rings, which prevents internal fogging of the lenses and makes the scope resistant to rain, dust, and temporary submersion. The rifle scope meets the IPX7 waterproof standard, providing protection against submersion in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 meter.
