HDOS (HD Optical System) optics deliver outstanding light transmission, balanced contrast, and sharp resolution. Prisms constructed from impact-resistant BaK-4 glass ensure superior brightness and image sharpness, offering a level of clarity not possible with binoculars that utilize more economical Bk-7 optical glass.

Prisms within the binoculars feature three distinct coating types:

• Dielectric coatings are applied to maximize light transmission and significantly boost surface reflectivity.
• Phase-3 coatings counteract phase shift losses in reflected light waves, thereby enhancing color accuracy, image resolution, and contrast.
• EXO Barrier coating shields the surface from water, oils, and various contaminants.

All air-to-glass interfaces are treated with multiple layers of FMC (Fully MultiCoated) anti-reflective coatings, effectively reducing unwanted reflections and minimizing light loss across the optics.

Fitted with control knobs for precise focus adjustment and diopter correction. Adjustable eyecups enable users to set the lens distance according to their eye socket configuration and to operate the binoculars while wearing either corrective glasses or sunglasses.

Constructed from damage-resistant plastic, the housing features textured inserts that deliver a reliable, slip-resistant grip even in challenging weather conditions. The binocular barrels are purged with dry nitrogen gas and sealed with O-rings to effectively prevent internal lens fogging.

Engineered to achieve the stringent IPX7 waterproof rating, the model is protected against immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for as long as 30 minutes. An integrated socket on the housing supports tripod attachment. The use of Roof (roof) prisms ensures the binoculars remain compact and highly portable.
