Semi-automatic personal defense pistol Byrna SD (Self Defense), utilizing an 8 g CO2 cartridge for propulsion and designed to shoot .68 caliber projectiles. Featuring a robust metal frame combined with a high-strength polymer body. Capable of launching rubber, rubber-metal, powder, pepper, or paintball rounds.

The Kinetic Kit edition distinguishes itself with a selection of included ammunition types. The package features Kinetic, Eco Kinetic, and Pro Training rounds supplied by Byrna.

The CO2 capsule is inserted into a chamber positioned beneath the barrel. Unscrewing the chamber cap is made easy with a hex key integrated into the magazine. The quick-piercing capsule mechanism activates the capsule upon the initial trigger pull. This setup permits the pistol to be stored and carried loaded, maintaining readiness for immediate use.

Equipped with enlarged mechanical sights, including a fixed front sight and rear sight, the pistol enhances aiming accuracy and speed. An ambidextrous safety lever guards against accidental discharge and offers convenient thumb activation. The reduced trigger pull compared to the previous model allows for quicker shots.

The rubber-coated pistol grip features unique honeycomb texturing, providing a secure hold and ensuring the pistol remains steady even in wet conditions. Positioned beneath the barrel, a 22 mm RIS mounting rail enables quick attachment of accessories such as flashlights or laser sights.

Designed to hold 5 rounds of .68 caliber, the magazine is compatible with various types of ammunition: polymer, powder, pepper, rubber, or a combination set featuring multiple projectile types.
