Carinthia HIG 5.0 Trousers - MultiCam Alpine
Insulated trousers in MultiCam Alpine camouflage intended for use in low temperatures down to -20 degrees Celsius and during changing weather conditions. They were developed as an insulating layer providing high thermal protection.
The outer layer is made of windproof Carinthia SOF 2L material, and the interior is filled with 125 g/m2 G-Loft synthetic insulation. The model is equipped with one external pocket, adjustable suspenders, and two-way side zippers for quick putting on without having to remove shoes.
Carinthia SOF 2L outer material
The outer layer is made of polyamide-based Carinthia SOF 2L. The material is lightweight, wind-resistant, and water-repellent, so it limits the penetration of cold air and the absorption of moisture during brief contact with precipitation or a wet environment. The trouser lining is made of 100% polyamide, which makes it easier to put the garment on over thermal base layer. In critical knee and seat areas, durable fabric reinforcements have been used to increase durability during work in changing positions.
G-Loft thermal insulation
Warmth retention is ensured by 125 g/m2 G-Loft synthetic insulation made of 100% polyester. G-Loft fibres trap warmed air inside the insulating layer, helping to maintain thermal comfort in low temperatures. The resilient filling does not clump and retains its warming properties even when damp.
1 practical pocket
The trousers are equipped with one external pocket, located at the back, fastened with a concealed zipper and protective flap. The pocket is intended for the safe carrying of handy small items.
adjustable suspenders, high waist
The model is equipped with adjustable suspenders of a new design that stabilise the trousers while walking, and the high waist at the back of the waistband covers the lower back and protects the kidneys from drafts. Along the legs there are separating, two-way zippers with a windproof strip that allow the trousers to be put on or taken off quickly while wearing shoes and equipment, and also enable ventilation adjustment during intense activity. The packed dimensions of 18 x 31 cm and low weight make the garment easy to carry in a backpack.

G-Loft insulation is an advanced material consisting of a three-dimensional structure of hollow polyester fibers that trap dry air to form an effective thermal insulation layer. These fibers retain their shape thanks to a memory effect, allowing them to return to their original form after getting wet, washing and heavy use.
