Carinthia Tropen Large Sleeping Bag - Olive - Left

Durable sleeping bag, in green, with a mummy-type construction and a built-in mosquito net, ensuring comfortable body positioning and unrestricted movement during sleep. It is made of high-quality polyamide, with a durable outer shell and G-Loft filling.

The operating temperatures of the Carinthia Tropen sleeping bag specified in accordance with EN 13537:

• T-comfort: 9,4 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
• T-limit: 5,1 degrees Celsius - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
• T-extreme: -7,9 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which one can survive in the sleeping bag. This is not a value recommended for standard use.

The outer layer is made of lightweight and moisture-resistant Shelltrans material, which loosely adheres to the inner part, creating an additional layer of insulation. The interior is made of polyamide characterized by low liquid absorption and high tear resistance.

The inside of the sleeping bag is filled with lightweight synthetic G-Loft down, which is responsible for maintaining thermal comfort. The insulation retains its thermal insulating properties even after getting wet, washing, and intensive use. The Thermoflect layer provides additional protection by reflecting the heat emitted by the body and retaining it inside the sleeping bag.

The trapezoidal construction in the foot area provides maximum legroom, and additionally helps retain heat better inside.

The Tropen model can be used in combination with other sleeping bags as an inner insulating layer. This solution ensures high thermal performance of the system and good wicking of excess moisture, which translates into thermal comfort at temperatures down to -20 degrees Celsius. The innovative Sleeping Bag System - Defence 4 technology and the materials used ensure low weight and take up little space in your equipment after packing.

The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper located on the left side, allowing full opening. Thanks to the Anti Snag system, the material does not get caught in the zipper. A velcro flap located at the top of the zipper prevents it from opening during sleep.

The built-in hood in the sleeping bag increases thermal protection by wrapping around the head and preventing heat loss during low temperatures. Its shape also provides additional protection against wind and moisture. The sleeping bag is equipped with a built-in mosquito net, placed in a flap with snaps on the front, which is fastened around the hood with a zipper.

The sleeping bag is 230 cm long, 87 cm wide at the top, and 65 cm wide at the bottom. It weighs approximately 1300 g. When packed, the sleeping bag measures approximately 19 x 25 cm.

The set includes a compression sack with snap buckles, which secures the sleeping bag during transport and protects it from dirt and damage.
