Carson SkySeeker Telescope 15–37.5x76 mm
A compact Newtonian reflector telescope, engineered for both novice and intermediate-level astronomy enthusiasts. The mirrored optical system removes chromatic aberration, delivering crisp and detailed views of celestial objects throughout the night sky.
Maximum magnification 37.5x, Huygens system eyepieces
Equipped with a primary mirror measuring 76 mm in diameter and featuring a focal length of 300 mm, this instrument provides a magnification range of 15x to 37.5x. Two Huygens eyepieces come included, enabling users to adjust magnification according to the target:
- 20 mm eyepiece – delivers 15x magnification
- 8 mm eyepiece – delivers 37.5x magnification
A fast aperture of f/3.9 combined with a resolving power of 1.8" (Rayleigh) and 1.5" (Dawes) ensures clear observations of the Moon, planets, and selected deep-sky targets. The system boasts a limiting magnitude of 16.9.
Stable Dobson base
Featuring a straightforward and robust azimuthal mount of the Dobson type, the telescope ensures effortless setup and operation—eliminating the need for worm gear tuning or intricate assembly of components.
Mobility and compact dimensions
Weighing just 1.68 kg with compact dimensions of 20.3 x 20.3 x 35.6 cm, the device stows easily in a backpack or gear bag, making it an ideal companion for field expeditions and outdoor surveillance.
