Waterproof and shock-resistant sports watch featuring a quartz movement. The analog-digital display, measuring 35 mm in diameter, is fitted with Super Illuminator lighting. The watch face is shielded by mineral glass rated at the fifth degree on the Mohs hardness scale for added scratch resistance.

Implementation of the G-Shock system significantly boosts resistance against impacts and physical damage. High water resistance enables immersion up to 200 meters (20 bar), making it ideal for swimming and recreational diving.

The watch displays time in a 12/24-hour format. Key features include 5 daily alarms with snooze, a highly advanced perpetual calendar, a stopwatch function measuring up to 24 hours in 1/100-second increments, and a timer capable of counting down from 1 hour. The world time feature provides the ability to track time in different time zones.

Powered by a single CR2016 battery, this watch delivers a battery life of up to 5 years as stated by the manufacturer. The flexible strap, crafted from black resin, features an adjustable circumference with a metal buckle for secure fastening.

Casio is a Japanese brand founded in 1946, which has remained one of the most recognizable consumer electronics manufacturers in the world for decades. It gained global fame with its iconic G-Shock series from the 1980s, valued for its high resistance to shocks, water, and extreme conditions. The company consistently develops its technologies, introducing innovations such as Tough Solar - a solar power system - and Wave Ceptor - radio time synchronization. Casio watches are popular among professionals and people looking for reliable models for everyday use and outdoor activities. The first G-Shock (model DW-5000C), designed in 1983 by engineer Kikuo Ibe, was so durable that it was tested by dropping it from the tenth floor, and yet it still worked flawlessly. Today, Casio is a symbol of innovation, durability, and timeless style.

Very good watch, I wear it 10 hours a day and there are no problems. On one trip it rained and I hit it against a tree while saving my balance, it survived and nothing happened. Black color is the best because it matches any outfit. However, as one earlier comment mentioned, the backlight doesn't help much, you can read the time, but not more.

Great watch, at a promotional price extremely attractive financially. Casio is a company that produces watches that last for years, I've worn several and they are indestructible. Plus, I really like this style.

Overall, I am satisfied with the watch. It is almost exactly as described and, after learning how to use it, it's delightfully intuitive. Its most important advantage for me is its indestructibility and water resistance (I dived up to 3 meters deep in a natural water reservoir and absolutely nothing bad happened – however, it's worth remembering that a 20-bar rating does not actually mean water resistance at a depth of 200 meters – it's worth looking up information on this with your favorite search engine). There is one drawback: the dial backlight is not as great as one might expect – yes, you can see the hands and tell the time, but unfortunately the digital display and the rest of the dial are completely invisible – you won't be able to read the date, the seconds after the minute (these are displayed electronically, not with a hand), or the stopwatch time. Younger people might still manage, but older users with deteriorating vision might have problems. For me, it's not a big inconvenience, as I don't usually check the time at night and, even if I need to, I have a small flashlight – but for people who need a readable interface in low light conditions and don't have access to a flashlight, this is something to consider.

Reliable, indestructible, and also light and handy. It has all the necessary functions as a watch for civilian and service use. Plus, it looks nice.
