CAT-type training tourniquet utilized by emergency responders, police forces, military personnel, and fire services. Designed for training in controlling severe bleeding from a heavily injured limb or limb stump following amputation, particularly when a pressure dressing is not sufficient.
The tourniquet is fully adjustable, ensuring compatibility with any arm or leg size. Featuring a durable hook-and-loop fastening system, the model comes with a plastic "windlass". The interior surface is lined with soft material to prevent skin irritation. A white label is stitched onto the windlass lock for recording the time of tourniquet application.
The strap is engineered for rapid deployment on both arms and legs, including self-application by the injured person using only one hand.
