The Astro Fi 5 SCT is a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with a 127 mm aperture and a 1270 mm focal length. With a maximum magnification of 191x, it is suitable for observing the surface of the Moon or the planets in the Solar System.
The device is operated using an app that can be installed on a tablet or smartphone. The telescope automatically points to the object indicated in the app and tracks it. Astro Fi can connect directly to a smartphone without an external Wi-Fi source. A Red Dot finder allows the device to be manually aimed at the observed object.
