Civivi Mini Praxis Flipper Folding Knife Canvas Micarta - Blue

EDC folding knife with a 75,6 mm blade. The Drop-Point profile blade is made of D2 tool steel hardened to 59-61 HRC. It is equipped with a Liner Lock lock and blue Canvas Micarta handle scales.

satin-finished D2 steel blade

The knife blade is made of D2 tool steel, hardened to 59-61 HRC which ensures long edge retention. The blade surface is finished with a satin coating, which reduces light reflections and effectively masks signs of use that arise during use.

Drop-Point profile blade, flat grind

The model features a Drop-Point profile blade with a plain cutting edge and a length of 75,6 mm. The blade has a flat grind. On the spine of the blade there is jimping that allows secure thumb placement and increases control over the blade during cutting.

Canvas Micarta handle scales

The handle scales are made of durable blue Canvas Micarta, which is resistant to moisture, temperature changes, and mechanical damage. Ergonomic profiling improves grip stability and comfort.

flipper, liner lock

At the base of the blade there is a flipper that allows quick and convenient one-handed opening of the knife. When the blade is fully opened, it acts as a cross guard, protecting the hand from accidental slipping. The use of a ceramic ball bearing supports opening and ensures smooth movement. In the open position, the blade is locked with a Liner Lock, which ensures safety during knife use.

spring clip

Convenient knife carry is provided by a spring clip made of stainless steel. The design allows the clip to be mounted on the right side, in the tip-up position.

Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
Micarta feature
Micarta
Micarta is a composite material made of layers of fabric (including canvas, linen, and paper) soaked in resin and pressed under high pressure and temperature. It is characterized by high mechanical strength, resistance to impact, abrasion, and changing weather conditions, as well as dimensional stability, which makes it ideal for knife handles. The surface of Micarta provides a secure grip and can be finished smooth or left with a slight texture to improve control over the tool. The material does not conduct heat or electricity, tolerates contact with moisture well, and acquires a characteristic patina over time, emphasizing the individual style of the knife. Thanks to its combination of durability, environmental resistance, and unique appearance, Micarta is widely used in EDC, outdoor, and collector's knives.
