Spring-assisted OTF (Out The Front) knife featuring a blade that deploys forward through release of a preloaded spring. The knife utilizes a D/A (Double Action) mechanism, allowing both the extension and retraction of the blade with a single side-mounted slider. This second-generation FS-X series model boasts a refreshed design and enhanced ergonomic features.
A blade with a Drop-Point profile crafted from D2 tool steel offers exceptional hardness and reliable wear resistance. The deployment and retraction system permits smooth and convenient operation for both left- and right-handed users.
The handle, constructed from lightweight yet tough anodized aluminum 6061 T6, is ergonomically contoured. Precision CNC machining has been used to finish the handle scales. For improved handling, textured surfaces on the slider and the front of the handle provide enhanced grip.
Slim-profile construction ensures easy carry in the pocket. The handle is equipped with a clip designed for tip-down carry. A glass breaker is integrated at the rear of the handle.
