The impregnant does its job. It is efficient and protects clothes and backpacks from water. Of course, it won't turn a cotton jacket into a waterproof one, but it will delay getting soaked for a while. Tested on clothes and a backpack, it repels water.

Really easy to apply, but use in a well ventilated area as it's really smelly. I tested it on my old boots an hour after applying and it worked really well , stood in 5cm of water before and after application, for about 5 mins and my socks stayed totally dry. This is a must have item for those cold wet winter months
