Cold Steel Chieftan Sax 1055 Fixed Blade Knife
This durable Cold Chieftan fixed-blade knife has a blade that is modeled after Old Germanic single-edged battle knives (Seax). The Broken-Back blade is made of high-carbon 1055 steel. The handle is made of hard damar wood. The knife is part of a set that includes a leather sheath.

The blade, with a broken-back profile (similar to today’s Bowie knives), is 352 mm long and 4.5 mm thick. It is made of high-carbon 1055 steel, which is characterized by high resistance to cracking and chipping, good edge retention, and ease of sharpening. The blade features a full flat grind, which guarantees excellent cutting performance.
