Good knife, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the TriAdLock was polished—in other large CS folders I had to polish it myself with fine-grain sandpaper. Because of the blade shape, it has a very intriguing cutting mechanism as the material falls into each successive 'bay' of the blade. It's quite thick just behind the edge, but well sharpened, you can shave, although when processing food it's specific enough that it's better to stick to versions with a more classic blade shape (drop point, clip point, or vaquero). Thick tip, so no worries about it breaking when sticking the knife into something. I think this knife is more for more avid collectors (to be considered after you already have, for example, Clip Point/Drop Point/Vaquero versions), functionally similar to the "Voyager XL Tanto" and another CS knife: "Frenzy".
Cold Steel Kris Voyager Folding Knife AUS-10A
A sizable yet lightweight and robust knife from the Voyager series, featuring a blade design influenced by Kris Malay daggers, distinguished by its undulating, serpentine form. Crafted from Japanese AUS-10A stainless steel, the blade delivers exceptional durability.
stainless steel AUS-10A, hollow grind
Measuring 139 mm in length and 3.8 mm in thickness, the blade is crafted from AUS-10A stainless steel, known for its excellent edge retention and ease of resharpening. Thanks to its hollow grind and carefully designed blade geometry, superior cutting performance is achieved.
double-sided stud, Tri-Ad Lock
Equipped with a double-sided thumb stud, the blade enables effortless deployment using either the left or right hand. Once deployed, a Tri-Ad Lock—an enhanced variant of the Back Lock—secures the blade. Compared to traditional systems, the lock is set much deeper and, when under pressure, braces against the stud that limits the blade’s range of motion, delivering superior stability.
Griv-Ex nylon, tip-up clip
Featuring an ergonomically contoured handle, the design incorporates a non-slip texture and is crafted from robust yet lightweight Griv-Ex, a glass-nylon composite. The textured surface delivers a reliable grip under any condition. For daily carry, a flexible, steel tip-up clip is included. An additional clip is supplied and can be attached to the left scale.

I recommend it, but at the price of ~460, paying more than half the price for a slipper is a bit much.
