I really like this type of machete because thanks to its design you don't get tired during cutting. Fits well in the hand. The construction is very solid. The steel is very high quality.

Machete produced by the esteemed American brand Cold Steel, inspired by the classic knives wielded by the Ghurka warriors of Nepal
The recurve/kukri-style blade is forged from robust, chip-resistant 65 Mn carbon steel and finished with a protective black anti-corrosion coating. A substantial cross guard shields the hand from sliding onto the edge.
Handle is directly injection-molded onto the blade's tang, crafted from tough polypropylene. Its design boasts excellent ergonomics and a textured, non-slip surface. A hole at the end of the handle provides an option for attaching a lanyard or safety strap.
Supplied with a sheath fabricated from Cor-Ex material.

-
Decent machete, treated as a workhorse on the plot, hard to kill.
-
Massive and durable equipment, capable of any job. Moving the center of gravity away from the handle adds a lot of chopping power. I recommend it.
-
Very massive, it's difficult to sharpen it 'razor sharp' on your own because the blade resembles more a hatchet than a knife, but for me that's not a flaw.
-
Cheap, well-made and very strong machete. Sharp, simple, even grinds. The sheath is also nice. At this price, there is no competition when it comes to effectiveness. Great product.
-
Good machete, massive, sharp. Easy to sharpen, easily cuts branches. The sheath is okay too.
